How to plan your brand photoshoot - realtor brand photoshoot

Preparing for your brand photoshoot is essential to ensure that your brand imagery accurately reflects your brand’s vibe and impact-fully connect your message to your audience. In the days of fast information and social media - you gotta stand out among the rest!

I got you covered on some tips to make your branding shoot a VIBE

First off say hayyyyy to Orlando realtor and social media extraordinaire Florence Zimmerman IG: @soldbyflo - we have been shooting quarterly for a few years and it’s been a pleasure getting to work with her and watch her content evolve so impactfully!

Define Your Brand Identity:

HI THERE, I’M THE PERSON YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!

  • You are here to connect your audience to your service, what do they need that you provide…and provide like nobody else does?

  • Get a few cliff notes on your brand! Define your brand identity, values, and messaging. Understand what you want the photos to communicate about your brand!

  • Get some “words” together that you will sprinkle throughout your brand content. Like mine, is clearly “VIBE” find your - words!

  • Define you is your dream client and how you can help them

What’s your Vibe?

Plan A Concept and Style:

  • Determine the concept and style you want for your shoot! It can align with your brand identity and target audience but also go with the seasons or trends in your industry. Things to consider are color schemes…mood you want to reflect too!

*For this shoot - she wanted moody and lots of movement. We wanted the shoot to have little props and on the go! Movement was a huge goal for this shoot

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!

  • Think about what location inspires you for your concept! Do you see yourself out and about in a downtown area, popping in coffee. shops and little spots? Do you see yourself in a cozy home or branding studio (The Vibe Creative is my studio for this)

  • Are you a hyperlocal expert? Do you have a sphere in a certain area and market to the area? Let’s see about some great spots there!

  • Think about the season! What colors will reflect the seasons senses, what locations and props can make the shoot even more impactful around the seasons

THE SHOT LIST

Let’s get the shot!

A shot list can be the most helpful part about the brand photoshoot!

Have some super important posts you need to make, marketing campaigns coming up or things you want to talk about in your marketing.

I’ve got you covered on posing but always come with things you want for poses.

Write down some messages you want to convey with this shoot and I got you!

PROPS

Props can be the shoot’s accessory that make the message and image make even more sense when you are scrolling by it!

  • Think of items you work with: laptop, branded folders, branded swag, phones and anything that you take with you day to day for work!

  • Again with the seasons, are there any seasonal props that hit the audience in their senses? The ‘ber months are perfect for this - the nostalgia of holidays are perfect to connect with!

  • Bring lifestyle props: coffee mugs, water bottles, bags, things that tie into your hobbies or your industry!

*for Florence’s shoot we opted for minimal props - just like a phone haha! The goal for this one was a little brand shift into less props and more candid movement!

I make shoot day fun and comforting!

We wil have lots of laughter, movement and feeling the confidence in the shots we are getting. My goals is to have you understand why we get the images and how to use them after the shoot!

BE YOURSELF

We are marketing the true you to connect to your dream clients.

They want to relate to you and really know what its like to work with you

If you aren’t a glam gal - don’t glam it up or be someone you are not. If you are - thats a vibe too and glam it up.

The goal here is looking and feeling like yourself so your messaging looks genuine!

If you are looking for an authentic way to connect to your audience and want your brand shoot experience to be EASY and fun? The Vibe Session is perfect for you! Let’s connect to get your shoot personalized to your goals!
